What we collect when you send a business enquiry, an idea, or another message, and what we do with it.
Business enquiries
The contact form asks for your name, email, business type, and what you need help with. Business name, website, extra details, and budget are optional. We also store the language of the form (English or Chinese), whether you asked for the free 15-minute conversation, and that you acknowledged this page.
When your visit includes them, we store the campaign parameters from the link that brought you here (utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign), the host name of the site that referred you, and the path of the first page you opened in that browser session. The host is only the site name, such as a search engine, Xiaohongshu, or a client website — not the full address. We use this to tell those channels, a direct visit, and a referral apart.
Enquiries are stored in a private database and are not published. After the form is accepted, your browser sends a notification to RemoteGeek Hub through Web3Forms, including the campaign parameters, referrer host, and first page path described above. A one-way hash of the network address may be stored so we can limit repeated submissions. We do not keep the raw network address, and we do not ask for customer lists, employee records, or financial details. Please do not include confidential customer, employee, financial, or sensitive business information in the form.
We keep an enquiry while we are reviewing it or working with you. Email hello@remotegeekhub.com if you want us to delete it.
AI idea enquiries
The form at /submit-idea asks for your name, email, and a description of the idea: what you want to build, who it is for, the problem, the current stage, the kind of help you want, an optional budget range, and any extra notes you choose to add. We also store the page you submitted from and, when present, the campaign parameters on the link that brought you here (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign).
We use those details to review the enquiry and contact you about a practical next step. Sending an idea does not add you to the newsletter. We ask for your agreement before we contact you about the enquiry.

Language
The language switch stores a cookie named rgh_locale with the value en or zh. A later visit to the home page can then open in that language. The cookie is not used for advertising. Opening a Chinese page directly does not set it.
Other messages
The newsletter signup and the idea-validator email report are sent through Web3Forms so we can read them. Business enquiries and idea enquiries are saved on this site first. Web3Forms is the notification email, and the form itself is submitted to this site.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views without setting a cookie, so it does not need a consent banner. We also send event names when you switch language, view services or client work, open a client project, start or submit an enquiry, choose the free conversation, or view the AI tools. An event can include the page language and, when we have it, the campaign source. Events do not include your name, email, or what you typed. On Vercel’s current plans, custom events are recorded on Pro and Enterprise. The Hobby plan records page views once Web Analytics is enabled for the project. A Pro project records up to two details on each custom event.
